INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

1. LOOSEN SCREWS ON J-BOX HALF WAY
(SUPPLIED BY OTHERS).
2. LOCATE THE BLACK (LINE), WHITE (COMMON), &
GREEN (GROUND) WIRES IN THE FIXTURE WIRING
COMPARTMENT AND PASS THESE WIRES THROUGH
CENTER HOLE OF MOUNTING PLATE AS SHOWN IN TOP
FIGURE.
3. (DIMMING ONLY) THERE WILL BE A GRAY AND VIOLET
WIRE (1 EACH). PASS THESE THROUGH HOLE WITH
OTHER WIRES.
4. ALIGN MOUNTING PLATE TO J-BOX, ROTATE PLATE
COUNTERCLOCKWISE, AND TIGHTEN WITH SCREWS.
NOTE: THE FIXTURE SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO HANG
ON ITS CHAIN AT THIS POINT.
5. REMOVE J-BOX COVER PLATE. REMOVE APPROPRIATE
KNOCKOUT AND ASSEMBLE APPROPRIATE CONNEC-
TOR FOR THE SUPPLY WIRE USED. CONNECT GROUND
WIRES TO GREEN GROUND LEADS. CONNECT WHITE
(COMMON) TO WHITE (LEADS). CONNECT POWER SUP-
PLY (LINE) TO BLACK LEAD(S). (DIMMINING ONLY) CON-
NECT GRAY (+) AND VIOLET (-) WIRES TO APPROPRIATE
0-10V DIMMING CONTROL PER NATIONAL ELECTRICAL
CODE AND ALL LOCAL CODES. REINSTALL J-BOX
COVER.
WARNING: DO NOT PINCH WIRES BETWEEN
J-BOX/BALLAST COVER AND J-BOX. CONSULT A
QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN FOR ALL OTHER OPTIONS

6. PUSH THE SPLICES INTO THE J-BOX. HOLD UP THE FIX-
TURE WHILE DOING THIS TO PREVENT STRAIN ON THE
BLACK
AND WHITE WIRES.
7. PUSH CHAIN AND GREEN BRACKET GROUND WIRE
INSIDE COVER.
8. ALIGN SIDE HOLES ON CANOPY TO SIDE HOLES ON
MOUNTING BRACKET

compliance with the National Electrical Code and local codes. The use of accessory equipment not recommended by

product in whole or part, as this may cause an unsafe condition. Do not allow items such as drapes, curtains, screens or
the like to come into contact with the product or to block light from the product, as this may cause an unsafe condition.
